Shapewear fits differently to everyday clothing.
If you carry weight through your puku or lower tinana, we recommend sizing up for comfort — especially in high-waisted styles.

Every tinana carries shape differently — this guide is here to support, not restrict.
Use your body waist measurement (cm) for best fit:
- 68–84 cm waist → S/M
- 84–98 cm waist → L/XL
- 98–116 cm waist → 2XL/3XL
- 116–138 cm waist → 4XL/5XL
Fit guidance:
- Soft or lower puku → size up for easier pull-on
- Firm build → true size may feel more compressive
Clothing sizes vary by brand — body measurements give the most accurate fit.
📏 How to Measure
Take your measurements gently. There’s no need to pull tight — your tinana will tell you what feels right.
Comfort comes first.
- Bust – around the fullest part
- Waist – your natural waist crease line
- Hips – around the widest hip/butt area
Tip: Keep tape firm (not tight). No sucking in. Ask someone to help if you can.
🧡 First Time Wearing Shapewear?
If this is your first time, go gently. Your tinana may need time to adjust — and that’s okay.
- Skin must be dry
- Step in slowly (small scoops up thighs)
- Ease over hips & puku
- Adjust & settle — let it warm to your body
Fit test: Too hard to pull up = too small. No resistance at all = too big.

For the best fit, use your body measurements (cm). If you’re between sizes, we recommend sizing up (especially for a softer puku or fuller hips).

- Want comfort + easier pull-on → size up
- Want firmer compression → choose your true size
- If waist fits one size but hips/thighs fit another → choose the bigger size
